Thanks for this Freda. I now have a mental picture of ‘Flying Freda’ zipping around the dance floor at the speed of light, feet going like a latter-day Ginger Rogers, carrying a banner saying “Just call me twinkletoes”.
I am in awe once again! I can barely walk and talk at the same time, and that was pre-stroke! I love that you are even attempting to learn the quick step. Way to go Freda! Of course, I did see those earlier pix of you looking so cute in your tennis togs, so there has to be a great deal of natural ability there!

about the GI diet: I did something similar a couple of years ago, except I didn’t spend money on a book. I just left out potatoes, bread, rice etc. as often as I could manage. And lost quite a lot of weight for free.
Dancing the quickstep often and for a long time would probably have a similar effect and be a lot more fun.
