For long enough I have been saying it would be nice to have a seat in the Glebe, one of our favourite local walks. This winter saw the demise of an old tree – all is not lost.

It will gradually take on a shape for a comfortable seat – just sit on it often enough!
Everything looks so beautiful and green! We are still living in the RV, right now in Georgia. But we are heading back north to Kincardine mid month and they still have lots of snow. Yikes…it had better melt by then. And I don’t like it when John is on the roof either!
That new “seat” seems the perfect spot for a pause and a leisurely survey of the changes spring is bringing. Enjoy!
Wonderful photo. Looks like a Sycamore to me. They fall over too easily because the are shallow rooted. This one is probably ten years old.
It is gone but not forgotten as you can see. All of my woods are dying.
