Nematodes

I have been investigating the world of nematodes for the control of slugs. As far as I can ascertain, they are tiny organisms that attack slugs underground and “do them in.”  So far so good – but they have to be ordered at specific times and only live for four weeks so treatment should have started in the autumn.

Anybody out there any wiser than me?

The jury is still out on the effectiveness of the nematodes. Apparently, certain types kill off plants as well as slugs. Not the point of the exercise!
