I am definitely a cat lover and my cat, Chloe, died a couple of years ago. I’ve decided that, for now, I can’t have a pet because of spending my life in two places on two coasts. I am, however, going to “borrow” a cat from friends who are going on vacation in a couple of weeks. It’s rather sad how excited I am about that. Thanks for reminding me what I’ll be going through.

I have seen this before and could never tire of it! In fact, it came to mind a morning last week when our 16 pound cat Shiva Lullaby kept walking back and forth across my back to waken me. It actually felt like a mini-massage because she is so hefty!

Wanted you to know I just posted the video you ran here of the three-year-old quoting Litany. Thanks again for bringing it to my (appreciative) attention.

Thanks, Lydia, I well remember how our cat used to make demands for food!

I miss having a cat, as I’ve had both cats and dogs most of my life. Living where I do, on the edge of a national wilderness, I’ve chosen to not have one, because of the risk of a wild animal getting hold of it. I have a doggy door for my pups, so keeping a cat in would be difficult. sigh. I do miss it, though, in spite of having 5 dogs!!

I love Simon’s Cat, it has quite a cult following among artists and cat lovers.

I still miss our cat, though he was a pest as well as a pleasure – and a good mouser!
