Mo Mowlam

Last night I watched the docu-drama, “Mo” thanks to the wonders of Channel4OD. What a performance by all the cast, especially Julie Walters who portrayed the larger than life character of Mo Mowlam with sincerity and integrity. It is hard to credit the talent that is Walters, matching Mowlam’s own I suspect.  I read Mowlam’s book on the peace process, but knew little of her struggle with the malignant brain tumour which ultimately killed her. My guess is that few people watching the programme were far from tears at times. A definite recommendation from me.
