Went into the pet supermarket in Oban yesterday to buy small milk dishes for the cat and a Christmas present for the dog. (Don’t worry, I have already got something for the cat!) I got diverted by the small animals at the rear of the shop. There was one large, clean, glassed area in a warm corner and it contained about half a dozen guinea pigs. I have never seen such happy animals, they were playing in and out of tubes, going for drinks and munching on treats. Full marks to the pet shop.
And No – I am not even tempted to have a guinea pig.
