Next Sunday is the first in Advent. That means the church countdown to Christmas has begun. Yikes, it really is time to listen to the shops and start shopping and to the post office and start writing cards and…… think about it being legitimate to burn my frankincense and myrrh oils in the oil burner……and make some mulled wine. Hmm – Perhaps it is not all so bad after all.

I agree…especially about the mulled wine.
Is it just me or do the years really zip past once your 50th birthday comes and goes It wasn’t so long ago I was looking forward to spring now I’m going to have to get tree out the loft soon,never tried mulled wine what’s it like?
The years do go past much more quickly, in young old-age. I can only presume it is going to get worse.
