It is not often that a book feels life-changing, but I can give that kind of recommendation to A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. It has certainly made me think about all sorts of issues and attitudes. Cannot say too much in case you decide to read it yourself. Well worth it and eminently readable. I couldn’t put it down.
