Misty had a trip to the vet today. This is becoming a regular yearly occurrence at Good Life Farm. Two problems today: 1) slightly weepy eyes; and 2) a dry rash. The vet put special drops in the wee dog’s eyes to check for scratches on the cornea. The alarming thing was that the fluid turned the eyes green – rather like special effects in a horror movie. The outcome was that there are now drops to apply twice daily – clear not green – and a special shampoo. The latter will have to wait till we are back at Dalamory, it is too difficult for the age-challenged here.
In case you are interested, the horses have been galloping about a lot today, as if to improve on yesterday’s game of let’s frighten the life out of that old couple!
