Burma and the cyber-revolution

It seems as if I have been holding my breath over the last few days, waiting to see what will happen in Burma. But then probably much of the world is too. We only know the breadth of the protests because of a few dedicated people getting information out over the internet. Let’s hope it makes the difference between life and death.

In the UK we take our democracy for granted a lot of the time. Today at least, I won’t do that; I know there is room for improvement but we have the means at our disposal. Today I pray for peace more than ever.
