I shall try to remember this as I drive down the lochside for an open-air service this morning. Being out in the beautiful scenery – and hopefully good weather – lifts the spirit and gives everyone a smile.

Theresa of Avila was a wonderful (if a bit scary for the men around her) lady. I wish I could have met her. I’d really enjoy hearing more about the outdoor lochside service. Hope the weather held.

The preacher admitted that he had prayed for sunshine and no rain. In the event, it was too windy to sit outside, but we had a lovely time of worship and plenty of goodies to eat afterwards!
