Yesterday Him Behind the Wheel went to the Special Olympics, at Glasgow to be the team supporter for Scotland West and Rab. Today, both of us went together with Son No 1 and his family, so we made a very vocal party! The atmosphere is great and the team spirit is very much in evidence. Today was doubles and tomorrow is the team event.
The Special Olympics motto is Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt. There is a lot to learn from all of this and we are enjoying the whole thing tremendously. Glasgow will never be the same and neither will we.
