Wrapping parcels to post has never been my favourite job. (So why did I buy such awkwardly shaped Christmas presents?) But I have become much better at it since I became an amazon bookseller and an ebay devotee. All sorts of boxes, envelopes and wrappers are hoarded in case they come in useful. This morning has just proved the point. The only trouble is that I forgot to put the Christmas cards inside the parcels. Never mind, they can go separately. I am certainly not unsealing the sticky tape and going through the fight with the ke-doofer that puts parcel tape on things again.
