Writing

The lazy writer in me was interested to read May Sarton’s take on poetry and prose.

I have written novels to find out what I thought about something and poems to find out what I felt about something.

As a compulsive journaller and blogger, I do write almost every day, but it is more about survival and sharing that survival with anyone online who wants to read it.

And, dear Freda, how I do enjoy reading what you share!
My mother shared a May Sarton book with me ages ago, don’t remember the title. I have a stack to read ahead of anything else, but I really should add her to my reading list. Also, have you ever read the diaries of Anais Nin? They are phenomenol.
I’m going to refer you to one on my blogroll, Marlys Styne. A special lady with a bold but lovely spirit. She has two blogs and references the other on this one –

I just ordered her book, Reinventing Myself, and am looking forward to reading it when it arrives.

Thanks for the links, I am in the process of checking them out. It is good to have the discipline to write concisely but regularly.
