Took the dog for a walk in the wind and horizontal rain – it all reminded me of living in the Western Isles long long ago. Was it worth all the puffing and peching? Well, since we came home, Misty has done nothing much but bark crossly at the wind. It is as if she blames it for all the noise.

Be glad you are not near windfarms – Misty would get really annoyed with the noise from them !
That’s a thought…..though there is a proposal to site a windfarm over the hill from us.
