Writing a sermon

I have a sermon to write for Sunday – an unusual occurrence these days. So what have I been doing?

Anything except sitting at my computer and writing it.
It was ever thus.

  1. Ellie says:

could the topic per chance be procastination? Ah, the joy of an old favourite of mine.

  2. Freda says:

Actually it is about mountaintop highs and valley lows in life. Sermon now ready – just myself to gear up now.

  3. Randall says:

    so that never goes away??

  4. Freda says:

Hi Randall – It appears not; I am preaching again the following week, so there will be a whole new opportunity to procrastinate.

  5. Ellie says:

ah, but the joy of procastination can only be appreciated by a true devote!!
I should know. Have to say, mountains and valleys sounds better, very appropriate for this time of year, or is that the leaning towards the road trip again…who knows. said road trip is being expanded to include wool shops, hmm, this is getting really confusing. Just had a thought, mum doesnt knit any more, does that mean she will find some really nice wool and then get me to knit it for her. Hope it work out better than the last hat.

  6. Freda says:

Sermon preached – must look out some wool and knit again myself.
