Early Spring

They say that spring is coming earlier every year, and this is evident in Scotland more than elsewhere. Our “February” daffodil bloomed in January, there are narcissi in full flower as are snowdrops and crocuses. And the other day I saw a bullfinch surveying the likely possibilities for nourishment and fun.

I am not complaining. The sunshine has been a much needed tonic.

One Response to Early Spring

Daffodils and snowdrops have gentle swaying lives. Are we to be but flowers, only seeking to bloom for a season? I think God had more than that in mind when he made you and me.
So into the storm we will no doubt go, after a suitable period of restfulness!(I've had mine!!!)
